Obituary of Bunny A. Muchiarone

Please share a memory of Bunny to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bunny A. Muchiarone, 70, our beautiful wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother was called to join our Lord in Heaven unexpectedly from a brain aneurism on Thursday, December 21, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and passed peacefully as she wished.

Bunny Arlene (Ashman) Muchiarone was born to Beverly (Salisbury) and Daniel Ashman on July 1, 1947 in Syracuse, New York. She lived most of her life in Conneaut, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan (Ashman) Cox; brother Daniel Ashman (infancy); and her father, Daniel Ashman.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Ashman; brother, Samuel Ashman; husband, James Muchiarone; daughter, Julie (Brian Simpson) Muchiarone; son, James P. Muchiarone; daughter, Tamara Muchiarone; granddaughters, Roxanne, Ava and Lia; nephew, Jason Cox; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; former daughter-in-law, Jill Muchiarone; and special friend,   Rowena Humphreys and her daughters Lily and Matilda.

Bunny was loved by many friends from her bible study group, neighbors in Florida and Ohio. As well as classmates from Conneaut and St. Luke's Nursing School of 1968, church members (especially ECUMC), work colleagues, volunteer groups for the church and special needs children.

Bunny graduated from Conneaut High School in 1965 with academic honors. She fulfilled her dream of obtaining her Master's degree from Kent State with honors. Bunny worked at Brown Memorial Hospital and ACMC for 40 years.

Bunny loved deeply, pouring her heart into family and serving her Lord with all her soul. She believed intensely in sharing God's love with others. Bunny's love for her family was unconditional, unparalleled and limitless. Her life was spent devoted to her loving husband, children and grandchildren. It was known that she was incredibly proud of their many accomplishments and the lives they led.

Bunny was an incredibly intelligent woman who stayed busy as a lifelong learner. She was a member of the Ashtabula Garden Club and Ohio Nurses Association. She loved learning new hobbies, feeding birds, painting, searching for beach glass, making her homemade recipes at family gatherings, and reading.
