Obituary of Forrest Dale Walker

Rev. Forrest Dale Walker, 91, of Chestnut St., Conneaut passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at his home. Forrest was born on July 5, 1924 to Robert Lee and Neoma May (Brumback) Walker in Allegany County, Maryland. Prior to moving to Conneaut, he resided in Greenville, South Carolina in the 1940's. Mr. Walker was employed with JC Penny's, Whitney's Clothing and the Astatic Corporation. After he retired he obtained his ministerial license and served as Associate Pastor in Thomasville, Georgia. Forrest enjoyed spending time at the beach, swimming, water skiing and riding his bike. He dearly loved his family and grandchildren. Mr. Walker is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Ed) Picard of Conneaut; grandchildren, Stacey (Mark) Picard-Maus of Arlington, VA and Joseph "Joey" Picard of Conneaut; brother, Ralph Walker; and a sister, Mildred Morehead. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances O. (Rath) Walker in 1993; and his siblings, Lee, Overton, Beatrice, Robert "Robbi", and Joe. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens where he will be laid to rest with his wife.
