Conneaut- Vivian R. Headley, 83, was reunited with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2025, and was welcomed home with open arms by those who had gone on before her.

Vivian was born on January 18, 1942 in Springboro Township, Pennsylvania the daughter of Claude B. and Hazel L. (Foster) Prussia. She graduated from the Conneautville High School Class of 1960, where she enjoyed playing in the marching band. Just a few years later she married the love of her life, William Headley on October 3, 1964 at the Conneautville Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2012. Vivian was a devoted 20 plus year member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Vivian began her career as a nurse's aid at Brown Memorial Hospital. She took time to raise her three children, a role she dearly cherished and later went to work for Premix, where she worked for 17 years, and enjoyed the relationship of her many colleagues, several of which became lifelong friends.

She loved to travel, and the family will cherish the many nights camping together as a family. Vivian loved to crochet and bake cookies. She also enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Vivian had a soft spot in her heart for animals as well. Above all else she loved being with her children, grandchildren and extended family.

Vivian is survived by her children, Nora (John) Maurer, Elaine (Gary Lucas) Headley, and Jennifer (Matt) Stenger; grandchildren, Devon, Scott and Samuel Maurer, Erika Hamilton and William Ta; great-grandson, Tanner Anderson; her brothers, Stanley (Molly) Prussia and Harold (Mary) Prussia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 48 years, William B. Headley; and her sister, Arlene Sollenberger.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 5:00PM at the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene, 55 E. Satin St., Jefferson, where friends and family will gather from 4PM until the time of service at 5PM. Friends and family will be invited to stay for a time of fellowship at the conclusion of the service.
