Pierpont- David N. Lewis, 68, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 21, 2025 at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's.
He was born on March 13, 1957 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Dorothy L. (Gordon) and David A. Lewis, Jr. David retired from Euclid Chemical after 30 years where he served in many roles, including plant manager at the Painesville plant.
Dave was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, four wheeling and having small gatherings in his hunting camp, "Camp Hickory". He took great pride in his property and was never one to sit still. He was always active, fixing and tinkering in the garage. He left many great memories playing his acoustic guitar and was known for being a sharpshooter, which won him many trophies. Above all else he loved spending time with his family and friends and absolutely adored his grandchildren.
Dave is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy (Kirkwood) Lewis, whom he married on March 6, 1982 in Conneaut, Ohio; children, Dennis "Denny" Brisley, Lorrie Litwiler, and Lacey (Jason) Hansen; grandchildren, Lawren, Buddy, Camron, Frankie, and Brody; siblings, William "Bill" (Pam) Lewis, Mike (Maggie) Lewis, Mark Lewis, Brian (Denise) Lewis, Christieda Sleigh, and Heather (Mark) Kohler; many special nieces and nephews; and his dog, Joe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Lewis; sisters, Gretchen (in infancy) and Cynthia Lewis.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be observed.
