Lawrence D. Webber, 70, of Conneaut passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital.

He was born July 18, 1954, in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Charles and Lucille (Ramey) Webber. Lawrence graduated from General McLane High School Class of 1972. He married the love of his life Susan Blanar on May 28, 1982.

Mr. Webber worked for many years as a forklift operator at CSP (now Teijin) in Conneaut before his retirement in 2019. Lawrence was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren to fix things. He enjoyed woodworking and going to classic car shows. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan; daughters, Amy (Brian Mendenhall) Taylor and Mary (Jody) Casey; brothers, Eugene (Ida) Webber, Dennis (Joy) Webber, and Kenneth Webber; grandchildren, Alex and Buzzy (Kaitlin) Taylor, Abigail and Katelynn McCollister, and Corbin Casey.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Webber; brother, Steven Webber; grandparents, Hiram and Sissy Ramey; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut. Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM.
