Judith K. Talso, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 29, 2025, passing away peacefully at UH–Geneva Hospital with her family at her side.
Judy was born on April 8, 1942, in Kingsville, Ohio, the daughter of Howard R. and Frances E. (Weaver) Blenman. She was a 1960 graduate of Kingsville High School. A Kingsville resident through and through, Judy was a lifetime member of Kingsville Presbyterian Church, where she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher and Deacon.
Her working career began at Kings Lanes, where she worked and bowled for many years. She also worked at Stills Restaurant and later retired from ACMC, where she was employed in the kitchen.
Judy was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed watching their games. She also loved doing puzzles, word searches, and playing games, especially Phase 10. Judy enjoyed bowling at Kings Lanes and ABC Lanes until her health no longer permitted. In her younger years, she loved camping and golfing. Above all else, Judy cherished her family and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings.
Judy is survived by her children, Rebecca (Renee Platt) Taylor and Timothy Talso; grandchildren, Tyler (Sara) Taylor, Shelby (Dylan) Bowers, Sydney (Randy Berg) Taylor, Dalton Talso, and Adam Talso; great-grandchildren, Maddison Bowers and Cameron Talso; siblings, Ruth Fedor and David Blenman; nieces and nephews, Scott Fedor, Shareen (Dan) DiGasbarro, and Jason Blenman; and her dear goddaughter, Kristi Toth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Richard A. Talso, whom she married on July 31, 1965; her grandson, Dylan Talso; and a niece, Penny Korb.
Calling hours will be held Friday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Conneaut. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Kingsville Presbyterian Church (Route 84), where a calling hour will be observed from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Judy's name to the general fund of Kingsville Presbyterian Church.
