David H. Soller Obituary

David H. Soller, 75, of Conneaut, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 5, 2026 at his home.


He was born September 6, 1950 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of the late Robert and Marie (Harrington) Soller. A lifelong area resident, David graduated from Conneaut High School. He then went on to honorably serve our country in the United States Navy during Vietnam where he was a master plumber. Upon returning from the Navy, he went on to work with his father as a master plumber with Soller and Son Plumbing and Heating. David also worked for the Conneaut Health Department as the city plumbing inspector for many years.


David was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing slo-pitch softball for Schlitz Beer and Dr. Feelgood's, where he played 3rd base and pitcher.


He is survived by his daughters, Annie Osolin and Aimee (Matt) Drautz; mother of his children, Rebecca Olmstead; step-sons, Steve (Deb) Tharp and Jason (Kristi) Tharp; nephew, Derek (Nancy) Woodworth and their children, Hunter and Ben; grandchildren, Addison, Kaylee, Ava, Aubrey, and Owen.


He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Welch, and his parents.


David has been laid to rest with his family at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville, where private family service was observed.
