Conneaut- Eric J. Johnson, 59, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026.
He was born on December 8, 1966 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of William F. Johhnson, Sr. and Marlene (Ceeder) Johnson.
Eric worked for many years at General Aluminum. He was an avid collector of wooden boats, snowmobiles and old cars. Eric enjoyed spending time with his friends, shooting the breeze, taking care of his fish tanks and helping raise chihuahua's along with Becky.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Becky Wolfgang and several dear friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" F., (Sharon) Johnson, Jr.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10AM-11AM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where a service will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
