Doris Edyth Hannold, 85, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at her home in Conneaut.

She was born on May 22, 1940 in Marietta, OH the daughter of Albert Richard and Marion Irene (Pugh) Fisher.

Family was the heart of Doris's life. She lovingly cared for many as a mother figure through the years and cherished time spent nurturing those around her. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed playing the piano, baking, and cooking.

Doris will be greatly missed by her son, Matthew (Dora) Hannold; grandchildren, Brian Hannold, Erin (Jeremy) Nelson, Emma Hannold, Samantha Hannold, and Sara Guinn. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Walt Hannold; two sons, Edwin and Timothy Hannold; grandson, Timothy, Jr.; and siblings, Joyce Onion, Roberta Hannold, Albert Fisher and Jimmy Fisher.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2PM with Pastor Les Bolen officiating. Calling hour will be held at 1PM until the time of service at 2PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, OH.
