Susan "Susie" Karen Roberts (DelPorto), 84, passed after fighting a heroic battle with breast cancer on March 12, 2026 at UH Geneva Hospital. She was born November 10, 1941 in Erie, PA to William DelPorto and Evelyn Pyle. She married Thomas Roberts, Sr. on November 3, 1962. Susan was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. If you entered Susan's home you became one of her family. She loved everyone with all her soul and would feed or provide a warm place to rest to anyone that needed it. She was a cosmetologist, dish washer, prep cook, house keeper but most of all a wonderful mother and homemaker. Her presence and feistiness will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Williams of McKean, PA; children, Thomas Roberts, Jr. of Erie, Pa, Janet (Bruce) Fogle of Springboro, PA, Jennifer (Clifford) Bowers of Conneaut, OH; grandsons, Christopher (Sarah)Roberts of Albion, PA, Thomas Roberts, III of Erie, PA, William (Pam) Roberts, Jr. of Andover, OH, Jackson (partner Cassie First) Roberts of Conneautville, PA, Hunter (fiancée Julia Wright) Logan of Morgantown, W.VA, Jonathan Hill of Conneaut, OH; granddaughters, Ashleigh Roberts of Erie, PA, Shelby (John) Meyer of McKean, PA, Savannah Fogle of Springboro, PA, Jordan (partner William Mook) Roberts of Hadley, PA, Morgan (Justin) Head of Girard, PA, Erinn (partner Patrick Block) Logan of Fallon, NV, Vivian Hill of Conneaut, OH and Cassie (fiancé Noah Carpenter) Hill of Ashtabula, OH; and many great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by both her parents; her husband of 46 years Thomas Roberts, Sr.; her son, William Roberts, Sr.; brother-in-law Neal Williams; and daughter-in-law Debra Roberts.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home or the Breast cancer society.

Calling hours will be observed Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 1PM-4PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where a service will follow at 4:00PM. A private burial at Springfield Cemetery will be observed.
