Conneaut – Frank Joseph Myers, 67, passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 3, 2026.

He was born June 27, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Frank A. Myers and Grace M. (Dyer) Myers Brosi. Frank was a graduate of Bellevue High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Frank lived in several places throughout his life, including Youngstown, Pittsburgh, Phoenix and Minnesota, before returning to Youngstown and Conneaut in his later years. He was a skilled auto mechanic, working alongside his brother at G & M Auto Shoppe and at various repair shops over the years. Most recently, he was employed at the Golden Dawn in Conneaut.

Frank had a love for superheroes comic books and sport car magazines. He especially enjoyed playing cards—particularly Canasta—with his siblings on weekends, a time he cherished.

He will be deeply missed by his siblings, JoAnn (Jim) Armes, Marilou Avritt, and Carol (Louis Mauro) Miller, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Getz; and his brother-in-law, Thomas Avritt.

In keeping with his wishes, Frank will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread at the Point in Pittsburgh, where the three rivers meet. In this way, he will journey along the Ohio River and symbolically return home to Ohio.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at Conneaut Township Park Gazebo on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 4:00PM.
