Marlene L. Johnson, 81, of Millard Ave., Conneaut, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Marlene was born July 8, 1933 in Buffalo, New York to Ted and Anna (Snyder) Cedar. She was employed with the Northwestern Pennsylvania School District. Marlene was Catholic by faith. She loved to quilt, bookkeeping, baking and enjoying the outdoors. Marlene was a wonderful mother, housewife, cook and made the best cherry pies. She enjoyed going to camp in Tidioute, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two sons, Eric Johnson and William "Bill" F. (Sharon) Johnson; and her two sisters, Joyce (Walter) Bartlett and Shirley (Jim) Wenner.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, William F. Johnson in 2013.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh, of New Leaf United Methodist Church, officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
