Kelloggsville- Stanley Darrel Dennis, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family.
Stanley was born on June 7, 1940 in Ezel, Kentucky the son of Stanley and Merlene (Haney) Dennis.
Darrel was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He worked for many companies throughout the United States and owned and operated his own trucks for many years.
His favorite pastimes were being surrounded by his family, hunting and horseback riding. He will be truly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an older infant brother; and a daughter, Mona.
Mr. Dennis is survived by his loving wife and companion of 42 years, Karen Hancock Dennis; daughters, Janice, Joyce, Jean, Jeanette, Lynn, Jessi; sons, John and Josh; brothers, Carl, Bob, Bill and Jimmy; and sisters, Katie, Midge, Brenda and Judy.
