Alice M. Kline, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Jefferson Health Care.
She was born on June 16, 1921 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania and has been a Conneaut resident since 1950.
Prior to her retirement in 1986, Mrs. Kline worked for 19 years for Conneaut Leather, Douglas Department Store and for 13 years for Fishers Big Wheel.
Alice was a 57 year member of New Leaf United Methodist Church and the former 1st United Methodist Church in Conneaut.
She is survived by her son, Richard L. (Sandy) Nelson of Conneaut; granddaughter, Linda (George) Sabo of Saybrook; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephew, Gary Rauch; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. Kline; mother, Nellie C. (Owens) Schuler; father, Melvin E. Rauch; son, James R. Nelson; and a half-sister, Judy Rauch.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, April 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Pastor Jan Walsh, officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home, from 12 NOON until time of services at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Should friends desire memorials in memory of Alice may be given to the New Leaf United Methodist Church, 283 Buffalo St., Conneaut.
