Juanita A. (Church) Eaton, 84, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Juanita was born November 11, 1932 in Conneaut, the daughter of the late Glen and Vivian (Bulfinch) Church. She married Gilbert Eaton on February 22, 1953, and have recently celebrated 64 years together. She graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1951. Juanita was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Juanita was a volunteer with several organizations through the years; Girl Scouts, Conneaut Food Pantry, HALO, and was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. She was a lifelong faithful member of Lakeview United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, CYC Leader (Christian Youth Crusaders), Vacation Bible School Teacher, and Choir Director. Juanita will forever be cherished by her husband Gilbert Eaton and “The Whole Bunch”. Jeannie (Art) Speer, Ruby Eaton, Connie Braden, Peggy (Rich) Kardos, Wayne Eaton, Anita (Terry) Wood, Lisa (Mike) Flanigan, Mark (Viki) Eaton, and Joel Eaton; grandchildren, Heather Speer (Tim Hudson), Shawn (Tiffany) Braden, Jason Braden, Luana Braden (Terry McDonald), Jana Braden (Josh Larsen), Casey Wood, Cayla (Heather) Wood, Josh Pennell, Maggie Flanigan (Ryan Drew), Matt Flanigan (Megan Bevevino), Kori (Matt) Stouffer, Karli Eaton; great-grandchildren, Trent, Libby, Maddy, Emma, Daemon, Gillian, Tedgina, Jason Jr., Mason, Timmy, Benny, Gracie, Kristina, Justin, Danny, Kayla, Julian, and Ari; great-great grandson, Christian. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Tammy, Terri Lee, Tim and Tom Church. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Church; Brothers, Uncle Harry Church, Richard Church; sister-in- law, Aunt Lee Church; two daughters, Lou Ann Eaton, and Tina Eaton; grandson, Michael Speer; and great-grandson, Bradley Crandall. No calling hours or services will be observed. A time of gathering will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 1-5Pm at Juanita’s Home, 177 Poplar St., Conneaut. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Grace Hospice for their kindness and care they gave to Juanita and her family.
