Conneaut- Ann M. Kantola, 94, of Day St., Conneaut passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the Villa at the Lake. She was born on July 9, 1923 in Ely, Minnesota the daughter of Steve and Jenny (Antilla) Moravitz. Ann graduated from Ely High School. She was a wonderful home maker and enjoyed cooking and people raved about her pies. Ann loved walking and spending time outdoors watching the wildlife. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Mike) Kehoe, Charles (Donna Courtney) Kantola and Lawrence (Kelly) Kantola; brother, Eugene "Bud" (Sue) Morrow; grandchildren, Mick (Patty) Kehoe, Jeannie Givens, Steve (Karen) Kehoe and Patrick Kantola; six great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and her beloved dogs, Bandit and Luke. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kantola; brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Jim and Bernie; and a sister, Laverne Chelesnik. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Should friends desire, memorials in memory of Ann may be given to the APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
