Conneaut- Judy Ann Wright, 75, of Conneaut was taken away on the wings of an Angel on Friday, September 15, 2017 at UH-Geauga Hospital after a brief illness.
Judy was born on September 9, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of George D. and Viola J. (Eddy) Wright.
She worked for many years as a waitress and bartender at the Silver Diner, Conneaut Eagles Club, Moonlight Inn and also as a housekeeper at the former Ramada Inn. Judy loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and also playing bingo in her free time. GG always had her candy dishes full for the all the kids, big and small!
Judy is survived by her children, Viola L. Alexander, Beth A. Speer, Marchetta M. Beville, Jeffery A. (Nikii) Beville and Melissa L. Newsome; sisters, Barb Leopp, Janice Thomas, Lois (Kenny) Williamson, Melanie Hayes, and Debbie (Mitch) Storozuk; brothers, Donny (Linda) Wright, George D. (Teta) Wright, Jr., Kenny Wright, and Duane Wright; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola J. Wright; father, George D. Wright; step-mother, Esther M. (Fortney) Wright; sister, Shirley Wright; brother, Merle Wright; son-in-law, Russell Newsome; and granddaughters, Carol Ann Felger and Ashley Lynn Newsome.
Friends and family will be received at the Thompson Smith Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut on Thursday, September 21 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service will be observed. Online obituary and condolences at www.thompsonsmithnesbitt.com
