Obituary of Charles L. Brydle

Charles L. Brydle, 94, of Monroe Twp., passed away peacefully, Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born December 8, 1920 in Kelloggsville, he was the son of the late Earl C. and Libby (Burkhart) Brydle, and remained a lifelong area resident. Charles graduated from Kingsville High School Class of 1940. He married the love of his life, Mary Shank on December 14, 1941.
Mr. Brydle was a US Army Veteran serving in India from 1943 to 1945.Chuck worked on the Nickel Plate and retired from Elkem Metals in 1982. He was a member of the Sheffield Grange, and the Pierpont Masonic Relief Lodge #284 and Kingsville Orion Masonic Lodge #353.
Charles loved the outdoors, he enjoyed farming, fishing and watching wildlife. He was a member of the Kingsville Gypsy camper' s club and loved to take the grandkids to the fish hatchery and the Linesville Spillway. Charles enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family.
Charles was survived by his daughters, Sally (Ron) Miller of Columbus, Betty (David) Loveless of Conneaut, and Joanne (Wilbert) Brumfield of St. Clairesville; son, Robert (Dianne) Brydle of Monroe Twp.; daughter-in-law, JoAnne Brydle of Madison; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1992; son, Charles D. Brydle; brother, Harold "Zeke" Brydle; great-granddaughter, Jessica Higgins; and his parents.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Kelloggsville Cemetery, Center Rd., Monroe Twp., with Pastor Tim Krause, of the Conneaut Church of Christ, officiating. Military honors will performed by the American Legion Cowle Post #151.
