So sad to hear of Ruth's passing. I will always hold my memories of her close in my heart. Ruth was a very loving and caring advocate and friend. Heartfelt condolences to all of her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by many.

My little cousin, Ruthie is no longer suffering. Her love of owls and dogs, her daughter, her grandchildren, her partner Mike, and Bob Dylan were unsurpassed. Although we didn't directly communicate through most of our adulthood, we remained connected through our mothers and reconnected in person in the 2000s. When her brother Eddie got married, we shared a hotel room the night before the wedding. We laughed and talked most of the night catching up on all that transpired from our last encounter until then. We remained in contact ever since, by phone most times and by visiting in person several times. We laughed a lot, so that's what I'll remember. My deepest condolences to Mike who struggled to help her during her illness and to Melanie who she loved so much and who gave her two grandchildren to love. The main topics of our most recent conversations were her two grandchildren and the clever and adorable things they said. May she rest in peace.

So sorry about Ruthie's passing. We were childhood friends in Amboy and Poore Rd. neighborhoods. Memories of playing school on your steps in Amboy, Playing scarecrow, when I ran into your clothes pole and busted my forehead when I was blindfolded. Dressing up your dog Herman, the laziest corgi in the world. Lol. Going to underpants falls with my Dad. Ice skating where I had to share my skates. Too many memories. A Daddy's girl. Prayer's for you. Much Love.
