Richard "Dick" A. Shepard Jr., 73, of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at UH- Geauga with his lifelong partner, Linda Kreiling at his bedside.
He was born May 14, 1946 in Ashtabula, Ohio the son of Richard A. Shepard Sr. and Antoinette (Giannelli) Russell.
Some of his hobbies were singing karaoke with many friends, working on his hot rods, and spending time outdoors; whether he be on his tractors or hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sitting next to the radio listening to music and enjoying a cup of coffee. Some of his most treasured times were spent with his family.
Richard is survived by his partner Linda Kreiling; their three children, Richard Kreiling, Kimberly Shepard, and Darrell Shepard; his brothers, Donald Shepard, David Shepard, and Dennis Shepard; his grandchildren, Kayla Malone, Marissa Malone, Chad Kreiling, Zachary Kreiling, Alana Bragg, and Regan Shepard; his great-grandchildren, Kayden Malone and Bryson Welsh. As well as many adopted children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Shepard, Sr. and Antoinette Russell; as well as his brother, Dale Shepard.
In keeping with his wishes, no public services will be observed. The Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut is honored to assist the family.
