I worked with Steve at Lowe's, he was always so nice and so polite. He was also such a big Steelers fan. We miss Him, but will see Steve in Heaven. Our prayers are with all of you. Ken Rohler

I am so very sorry to hear about Stephen's passing. I worked with him at Lowe's. He was hardworking, very kind and caring. The world will be a darker place without him in it.
Praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about Stephen's passing. I wrote a feature story on him and his Steelermobile for the West County News-Journal, and it was a pleasure to get to know the family. God bless him.

Steve was a wonderful, loving young man. He made me smile and laugh. He was always by his mom's side at Church and in life. I loved that about him. He was always very involved with VBS along with his mom. One funny memory I recall is when he came to our home on Rt. 408 (when we were all younger) and there was some mishap and one of Olivia's barbie dolls ended up in the field next to our house. I really don't recall what happened (it doesn't matter) but it made me laugh then and still makes me laugh. He also started his own cookbook that day. Good memories!! We all loved him! Ken, Melinda, Olivia and Adam

I will always remember Stephen’s kindness and compassion towards me, he knew that I was a huge basketball fan and in particular a Chicago Bull’s fan, my mother passed away and I was visiting dad after the funeral and Stephen came into the room and gave me his Chicago Bull’s jersey and then we hung out the next day at the hotel. Thanks little bro for sensing my sadness and being so kind to me, and don’t worry about the bet that you lost, dad paid it LOL
