Obituary of Meribeth Sironen

Perry- Meribeth Sironen, 71, passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2020 at her son and daughter-in-law's home surrounded by family.
Meribeth was born November 4, 1948 the daughter of Fredrick and Jean (Ashton) Crellin. Growing up she lived in Leroy and graduated from Riverside High School Class of 1967, where she was a Beaverette. Meribeth got her cosmetology certificate from Lake County Vo-Ed's first graduating class and later owned and operated Lynn's Hair Shoppe for many years and also worked at Hair Mates and Merle Norman in Painesville. Meribeth was also co-owner and helped her husband run M&M Kennels.
Meribeth attended Leroy Community Church and NWTF Women in the Outdoors program for over 30 years. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She loved fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Meribeth enjoyed traveling on hunting trips all over the country.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Matt Sironen; children, Kimberly (Greg Bortnick) Scheuer, Carrie (Bob Fatica) Harris, and Heath (Cassie) Sironen; grandchildren, Victoria Scheuer, OS3 Brooke Scheuer serving in the US Navy, HM3 Tiffani Harris serving in the US Navy, Pvt 1st Class Kaysie Harris serving in the US Army, Matt Sironen II, Trinity Sironen, Faith Sironen, Ethan Sironen, Rylie Sironen, and Kylie Sironen; sister, Pat Semenuk; and her sister-in-law, Sue Crellin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Jean Crellin (Jean she provided care for 5 years); mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Theresa Sironen (she provided care for 20 years); and Matt's grandmother, Alice Sironen (she provided care for 20 years).
In keeping with Meribeth's wishes, she will be cremated. The family will celebrate her life at a later date to be announced.
