Wayne A. Lett Obituary

Saybrook Township- Wayne A. Lett, 45, died Saturday, December 12, 2020 after a courageous battle against Covid-19.

He was born on October 6, 1975 in Willoughby, Ohio the son of Lori J. (Sellers) and the late Michael C. Lett. Wayne graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1994 and attended the Ohio Center for Broadcasting.

He was a long-time employee of Greg Sweet-Ford in North Kingsville, and worked various positions, most recently was in car sales. Wayne enjoyed playing slow-pitch softball and captained many teams. He also played darts for LEDA and the Ashtabula County Dart League, where he also served on the board.

Wayne never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He loved to help others and would give his shirt off his back to someone in need. Wayne was the go-to guy, whether he was helping a friend out, sewing on a button on a bride's dress or filling in as a maid-of-honor. To know Wayne, you also loved him.

Wayne was the President of the Ashtabula County Browns Backer's Club.

Lett; sons, Kevan (Rachel Hodge) Gray and Kyle Gray; grandson, Brently; two brothers, Joel (Loretta) Lett and Matthew (Sherri) Lett; mother and father-in-law, Faye Gray and David Gray; several nieces and nephews; a host of dear friends; and his two dogs, Dexter and Tysin, he loved his dogs and they loved him.
