Obituary of Chad R. Parknow

Erie- Chad R. Parknow, 43, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 6, 1977 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of Jinny (Tidd) Wozniak and the late Robert Parknow. Chad graduated from Girard High School Class of 1996, where he was a member of the marching band. He received an Associate Degree from ITT Technical Institute and was employed with Huntington Bank as an IT Specialist. Chad served his country honorably in the United States Army, serving overseas in Bosnia and Korea. He was an avid gamer and enjoyed gaming with friends. He was a huge Star Wars enthusiast and loved everything Star Wars. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of all things related to Star Wars. Chad also was a car enthusiast and could quote the specs of most any vehicle. He loved learning and comparing the specs of high-performance models. Chad is survived by his mother Jinny Wozniak; siblings Andrea (Joshua) Pietras and Anthony Wozniak; grandma Evelyn Bush; nephews and nieces Tyler, Brandon, Aizik, Haydn, Rylinn, Elias, and Aurora; and his extended military family.
