Obituary of Katherine E. Rivera

Katherine E. Rivera Katherine E. Rivera, 80, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at UH- Conneaut Medical Center. She was born January 16, 1940 in Sandusky, the daughter of the late Harvey and Catherine (Stopera) Schuman. Katherine over the years worked at the Astatic, she worked for over 25 years for the Eighmy Corporation, and then retired from Technology Integration Products (TIP) in Conneaut. She loved animals, especially her dogs. A natural caregiver, most of all she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Katherine is survived by her children, William (Sanjuana) Rivera, Daniel (Sandi) Rivera, Ronald (Virginia) Rivera, Juanita (David) Blessing, and Margarita "Marge" (Donnie) Rood; grandchildren, Nichole Rivera, Brenda Rivera, Kirk Giles, Cory Blare, Deanna Brown, Tony Rivera, Nicole Anthony, Alyson Zoblisien, Jessica Zoblisien, Joseph Giannetto, Angela Giannetto, Heather Erickson, and Rick Erickson; many great-grandchildren; and a sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Private family services will be observed. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.
