Elizabeth R. "Betty" Fogle

Elizabeth R. "Betty" Fogle, 83, of Conneaut, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

She was born January 18, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Merle and Jennie (Koncel) Graff. Betty married Ronald Fogle in 1954 and made a life with him raising three children. Betty enjoyed collecting Angels and reminiscing over a cup of coffee with friends.

Betty could be ornery, but always had a great spirit. She loved family cook outs and get togethers, especially when hotdogs were on the menu. She looked forward to this time with her family who meant the world to her. Her life was complete when she got to spend time with her great-granddaughter who she loved to the moon and back.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Santiago and Beth Fogle; brother, David Graff; grandchildren, Miriam "Alecia" Santiago, Jose Rosado, Kimberly (Ryan Smith) Rosado, David Fogle and Corey Fogle; her precious great-granddaughter, Mya Smith; and great-grandson, Ryley Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald in 1999; son, David; sisters, Helen Moore and Sue Copeland; and brothers, Merle Graff, Jr., and Jerry Graff.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 5-7PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 1PM at Greenlawn Memory Garden Mausoleum, 3140 E. Center St., Conneaut.
