Obituary of Vada Delores Lute

Sheffield Township- Vada Delores Lute, 81, passed away on September 14, 2021 at UH-Geneva Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on June 18, 1940 in Milo, West Virginia the daughter of Garfield Parsons and Mae (Bailey) Parsons. A long-time resident of the area she attended Ashtabula High School. Delores married the love of her life, Charles Lute and she supported him and devoted her life to raising their family. She was a member of the Gateway Church She loved helping other people, which led her to working with Ashcraft Industries and assisting on the bus routes as an assistant. Delores was a devoted prayer warrior and could be counted on as part of a support system. Her family was always close, she loved cooking for her family and cherished Sunday dinners at the family home. Delores' door was always open, and she warmly welcomed those that came through it. She is survived by her loving children, Charles (Diana) Lute, Kenneth (Rebecca) Lute, Michael (Jenny) Lute, Brenda (Jim) Nyers, Darla (Larry) Simmons, Daniel (Renee) Lute and Elizabeth Lute; 17 adoring grandchildren; and many dear great-grandchildren; her siblings, Christine (Bill) Fredrickson, Jackie Hatmaker, Terry Bort, Ted Bort, and Linda (Don) Lamson; and a daughter-in-law, Renee Lute. She was preceded in death by her father, Garfield Parsons; mother, Mae Bort-Keidel; husband, Charles Lute; son, Keith Lute; and her brothers, Garfield and James Parsons, Thomas and Timothy Bort. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Gageville Cemetery and will be announced by the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut.
