Roaming Shores- Betty Koykka, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Jefferson Healthcare Center. She resided most of her life in the Conneaut area, moving to Florida in 1990 where she lived for 17 years before returning to Ohio and resided in Roaming Shores ever since.
She was born on October 1, 1930 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Howard G. and Fannie M. (Larkman) Fife. Betty graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1948.
She was employed with the Astatic Corporation, City of Conneaut Treasurer's Office and worked for Gleason Realty over her working career.
Betty is survived by her son, Charles Koykka of Erie; grandchildren, Valleri (Frank) Kovach of Painesville and Jeremy (Cari) Koykka of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Koykka in 2004; and a son, David Koykka in 2015.
A graveside service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, Ohio, 44030.
