Conneaut- Robert William Mickle, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on January 29, 1929 in North Kingsville, Ohio the son of Carl E. and Frances G. (Scoville) Mickle. Bob attended Conneaut High School, and would join the United States Air Force, where he served honorably as a pilot during World War II.
He was employed with Myers, where he welded and painted snowplows, he retired after 29 years as a foreman.
Bob had his private pilot license and loved flying planes. In addition, he enjoyed fixing watches. Bob enjoyed going to yard sales or simply spending time at home with family and friends.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Carol Stump; sister, Shirley Grable; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death his parents; wife, Zinna Mickle; and his siblings, Evelyn Segler, Violet Miller, Frances Sanford, Donald, Ronald, Carl and John Mickle.
Respecting his wishes, no services will be observed.
