Conneaut- Patricia Buchner, 73, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Pat was born on March 21, 1949, in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Irma Frances (Stavanja) and Rudy J. Pryately, Sr. She graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1967. Patricia was of catholic faith and a member of Corpus Christi Parish. She married the love of her life Ivan "Nino" Buchner on July 1, 1972. Pat was a loyal employee of Lowe's and gave over 20 years of dedicated service.

Her Slovenian heritage was important to her, belonging to the Slovene National Benefit Society and American Mutual Life Association. Patricia shared the love of her culture with her family and was sure to raise them immersed in Slovenian traditions, encouraging them to sing in the Slovenian singing group as kids and attending the SNPJ campsite every summer. In addition, Pat had a thirst for knowledge and loved history. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends and often incorporated a history lesson into those trips, which made the places they visited with her much more special and memorable.

Pat will be remembered as a hard worker, a wonderful baker and gardener and taking care of her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter with all her heart. Patricia also cherished her husband of 50 years, Ivan, and was blessed with a long and full marriage.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ivan "Nino" Buchner; children, Jonathan (Courtney) Buchner and Elizabeth O'Meara; grandchildren, Rebecca, Luke and Lola Buchner, Jacob Gurwell, Oliver and Alexander O'Meara; great-granddaughter, Ava; and her siblings, Linda Pryately and Rudy J. (Rhonda) Pryately, Jr.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life service will be held, Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 12:00PM, with Rev. Fr. Raymond Thomas, officiating, at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where friends and family will be received from 11AM until time of services at 12PM.
