Josephine Miller, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on January 27, 1934 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Clifford and Ruth (nee: Thayer) Pier.

Josephine worked for many years at the former Astatic and CTI Audio.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents Clfford and Ruth Pier; beloved husband, Earl G. Miller, Sr.; her dear sons, Carl T. Miller and Earl G. Miller, Jr.; and beloved siblings, Iva Marie Mohr, Bessie Green, Shirley Lautanen, Robert Pier, Kenneth Pier, and Harold Pier.

She is survived by her sisters, Clara Wright and Alene Franbach; brother, Archie (Judy) Pier; grandchildren, Melissa Hunt, Earl Miller, III and Shannon (Jeff) McBride; and her beloved dog.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10:30 at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home. No calling hours will be observed. Private burial at Kelloggsville Cemetery.
