Obituary of Clarence H Tuttle

ASHTABULA- Clarence H. Tuttle, 76, of Monroe Twp., passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. Clarence was born on September 29, 1937, in Monroe Twp., in the home he resided. He was the son of the late Harold and Grace (Miller) Tuttle. Mr. Tuttle was a lifelong Monroe resident. He was employed at True Temper for many years until he went into fulltime dairy farming. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and most of all "Family". He enjoyed coffee with his family and friends. Clarence had a unique personality which earned him the nickname "Grumpy", but everyone knew where to go for help. Clarence was preceded in death by his son, Marty, and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marilynn (Emery) Tuttle; his children, Brent and Rene Tuttle of Skandia, MI, Bart (Tammy) Tuttle of Monroe, Rona (Randy) Anslow of Jefferson, Carrie (Sonny) Bryant of Nashville, TN, and April (Henry) Case of Conneaut; his brothers and sisters, Carol Ann (Sam) Coffman of Kingsville, Delbert (Nancy) Tuttle of Monroe, Rebecca (Henry) Hautala of Mentor He was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Bryce, Brittany, Bryan, Jonathan, Joshua, Jeremy, Tiffany, Randy, Bethany, Zach, Belle, and Jerad; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Our family wishes to "Thank" the entire staff of the DaVita Dialysis Center for his excellent care over the past 3 years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Bishop Dana W. Harju, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, officiating. Burial will follow at Kelloggsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-9 at the funeral home. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be given to the family.
