Katherine E. Adams, age 86, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Lake Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born on March 16, 1937, in Girard, Pennsylvania, Katherine was the cherished daughter of Luard and Charlotte (nee: Walwrath) Steadman. She proudly graduated from Girard High School, Class of 1955, and was an active member of the First Congregational UCC.

Throughout her lifetime, Katherine wore many hats. She was the proud owner and operator of Creative Crafts in both Conneaut and Girard. Katherine also spent several years as a dedicated bar manager and later contributed her skills to the Walmart Jewelry Department. Her passion for music led her to Nashville, where she penned and recorded numerous songs and poems. Katherine found immense joy in attending and participating in bluegrass festivals. Her compassion for others was evident as she frequently coordinated local relief efforts for national disasters over the years. At home, she lovingly tended to her flowers and gardens, finding solace and contentment among the blooms.

Katherine is survived by her loving children, J.C. (Zalpha), Jeffrey Adams, and Holly Linke; her adored grandchildren, AJ and Jeffrey; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luard and Charlotte Steadman, and her dear brothers, Luard "Sonny" Steadman and Dale Steadman.

The family will hold a private family funeral service, and Katherine will find her final resting place at St. Joseph Cemetery.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Lake Pointe Nursing and Rehab for their exceptional care and love during the past year. In memory of Katherine, contributions to the Activities Fund at Lake Pointe are greatly appreciated.
