Deborah Lee Rzeszutek,68, of Conneaut, Ohio moved on to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Debbie was born on August 12, 1955, in Conneaut, Ohio; the daughter of Richard and Eileen (Mackey) Neubauer. Debbie graduated from South Ridge Christian Academy in 1975. It was here that Debbie developed her singing skills, placing in a girl’s ensemble competition in Garland, Texas. She married the love of her life, Steve Rzeszutek, on June 30,1979. They would go on to share 44 years together in marriage. Over her working career Debbie worked at Ashtabula Regional Home Health as a Nurse’s Aide, traveling throughout the county. Debbie would go on to work for Ashtabula County Board of MRDD as a Workshop Specialist Assistant where she retired due to a disability. For leisure Debbie enjoyed crocheting and reading. Debbie and Steve were blessed to be able to travel and go camping. They fulfilled a lifetime dream this past winter camping in the Crosby, Texas area to be close to their daughter Eileen. Debbie felt blessed to be able to have lived 68 years and completed many life milestones along the way. At the age of 16 Debbie accepted Jesus into her heart as her Lord and Saviour. She looked forward to running into the arms of Jesus for a long reunion! Debbie is survived by her husband Steve; daughter Eileen (Chris) Burrows of Crosby, Texas; brothers, Richard (Debbie) Neubauer; David Neubauer and his partner Angela Mitchell; Scott (Jeannie) Neubauer, and Jim Neubauer, all of Conneaut. Grandchildren Tara (Rob) Layton of Conneaut and Zachary Burrows of Channelview, Texas; great grandchildren Freya Layton and Orion Bowers; nieces Kimmy Neubauer, Kelly (Brian) Carlson; Stephanie (Nathan) Stoltz; Hayley (Josh) Teppo and nephews Adam (Danielle) Neubauer; Mitchell (Amber) Neubauer; and Michael (Brittany) Neubauer; special nieces and Amy, Ashley, and Derrick and several great nieces and nephews who Debbie loved; one uncle, Frank Giles; and several cousins. Debbie was predeceased by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11AM at the New LEAF United Methodist Church, 110 Gateway Ave., Conneaut with Pastor David Durk officiating. Burial will follow at Kelloggsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 6-8PM at the church and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the New LEAF United Method-ist Church, 110 Gateway Ave., Conneaut, Ohio 44030, the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or the Hospice of the Western Reser, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
