Obituary of Jill E. Hale

Conneaut - Jill E. Hale, 62, born August 14, 1961, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the beloved daughter of Socrates and Patricia (nee: Mesler) Tsepelis, peacefully passed away, Friday, February 16, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Jill graduated from Bradford Area High School Class of 1979 and was a dedicated member of the Conneaut Church of God. Known for her kind and giving heart, she found joy in helping others throughout her life's journey. She worked for many years as a waitress at various restaurants. Jill also excelled in buying homes, remodeling, and showcasing her interior decorating skills, establishing a thriving Airbnb business. Above all, Jill cherished her role as a devoted mother, finding fulfillment in being a stay-at-home mom while raising her children. She held a special place in her heart for her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren, always ready to lend a helping hand and provide support whenever they needed her. Jill's legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to her family and community will forever be cherished. Jill is survived by her children, Bridgett (Chris) Stiltner, Nathan (Bonnie) Hale and Brandon (Ashley Potts) Hale; grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Colby, Paige, Juila, Cullen, Peyton, Brooke, Arrow, Linkin, Ravyn, Laila, Laini, and Brody; and her siblings, Colleen Nolder, Deborah (Jerry) Keesler, Dawn (Larry) Stillman and Lori (Steve Kellogg) St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Rodney V. Hale, whom she married on February 14, 1980; brother, Sam Tsepelis; and a brother-in-law, Ron Nolder. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 7PM at Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, Ohio 44030, where friends and family will be received from 5PM until time of service. Private inurnment of her ashes will take place at Kelloggsville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Rodney.
