Lois was one of the most caring, loving people I have ever known. Both of my parents, Sally and Don Smith, treasured their friendship and had wonderful memories of Lois and Lyle, as did Tim and I.
Mom used to laugh when remembering the gentle, kind, Lois throwing a trap in the trunk of her car with a ground hog in it and the two of them speeding off to release it far from her home and hoping it would not return!
The two of them had many adventures and excursions filled with laughter and love that brought joyful reminiscences to mom in her later years at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home during COVID.
We also remembered Lois's delicious cheesecake that she blessed us with when there was a special occasion. It was amazing, as was Lois.
Lois Wheatley was a fantastic person and a wonderful friend. She was an Angel on earth to everyone whose life she touched and is now an Angel in Heaven.
Our condolences to the family. She will be sorely missed by those of us on earth! However, I can just picture my mom and Lois laughing and talking together in Heaven! Friends forever!
