Joyce V. Mast, 73, of Conneaut passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Lakepoint Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 29, 1950, in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Vienna (Koponen) Novinski. A lifelong area resident, Joyce graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1968. She married Eugene Mast on October 16, 1971.
In her younger years Joyce worked at various factories in town. With her love of shopping she found the love of going to flea markets. She and Eugene sold items at various flea markets and festivals around the area for many years.
Her most memorable memories were from the time she took a trip with Eugene to Hawaii after he retired. Joyce loved the color purple and was an avid cat lover.
She is survived by her sister, Marcia Brown; nephew Jeff Brown; niece Michelle Halbert; dear friends Jerry Janco, and Stacy; as well as many nieces and nephews who were special to her.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in 2020; brother, John "Terry" Novinski; and her parents.
At her request she will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Eugene at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 12PM.
