Heather L. Laferty, 57, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024.

She was born on October 14, 1967, in Conneaut, Ohio to Rebecca A. Litwiler and the late David L. Hawn. Heather was a 1986 graduate of Edgewood High School and was a lifelong learner earning her associate's degree in accounting from Kent State University, Ashtabula and later her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and her master's degree in accounting from DeVry University.

Heather loved animals, especially dogs. It was her love for her nieces and nephews and the support she showed them that will be long remembered by her family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lee and Donna Litwiler; her paternal grandparents, Charles and Vivian Hawn; her father David L. Hawn; husband and dear friend, Glenn Laferty; and dear friend, Bob Gephart.

Heathers memories will live on by those who survived her, mother, Rebecca A. Litwiler; brothers, Charles L. (Cherie) Hawn and Nick (Tia) Rhodes; her sister, Amanda (Chad) Morris; nieces and nephews, Charles L. Hawn II, Justin Hawn, MaKenna Rhodes, Haylee Rhodes, Chase Morris and Cayleigh Morris; great-nephew, Ryker Hawn; great-nieces, Ellie Mae Hawn, Harper Hawn and Magnolia Hawn; and a host of family and friends.

A grave side service will be Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00AM at the Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel.
