Conneaut- Emma Fowler, 97, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 27, 2024. She was born on June 24, 1927, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of John and Jennie (Slivar) Lyubi. Emma married the love of her life, Deene M. Fowler April 1, 1947. She retired from General Electric in 1994, after 32 years of dedicated service. Emma is survived by her children, Richard M. (Sally) Fowler of Cortland, Diana Wright, Lorna (Jack) Radcliffe, Jennie (Rick) Chicatelli, and Terry (Jodi) Fowler, all of Conneaut; sister, Josephine Chilcott; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Deene Fowler; two sons, Deene Fowler, Jr. and Tony Fowler; and her siblings, Jennie English, Mildred Panfihoff, John Lyubi, and Tony Lyubi. Private family services were observed at Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
