Ashtabula Township- Robin L. Coxon, 68, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 31, 1956, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of Lester R. and Nina (Johnson) Esterbrook. Robin was a 1974 graduate of Painesville High School. She was employed with the Lake County Courthouse, and later served as secretary to the former Lakeview United Methodist Church. Robin was a former member of Harbor United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, beading and took much pride in making jewelry. Robin loved helping others and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roy L. Coxon, whom she married on August 24, 1985, in Conneaut; her two children, Rachel and Rhett; and a brother, George Esterbrook. Robin was preceded in death by her parents; brother Stuart Esterbrook; and she never forgot a child she miscarried, and affectionately referred to as Lima Bean. A memorial service will be announced by the family in the spring.
