Monroe Township- Rosemary Ross, 91, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. Rosemary was born on May 6, 1933 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of William C. Deiter and Reva M. (Snyder) Deiter-Barnard. She was a 1951 graduate of Rowe High School. After graduation she married the love of her life on November 1, 1951 Wells L. "Bud" Ross at Stateline United Methodist Church. Rosemary loved being a homemaker, cooking and keeping a tidy home for her family. She looked forward to the annual summer vacations and taking trips all over the country. Rosemary enjoyed being at home, walking in the neighborhood and doing ceramics. Her cherished family includes her children, Debbie (Pat) Kernohan, William (Laura) Ross and Tammy (Perry) Kennedy; six grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren she adored; and her dear cat Casey, she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of nearly 70 years Wells "Bud" Ross; and a grandson, Michael Kernohan. Private family services were observed. She was buried at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Memorials in her memory may be given to the Maddox and Friends Cat Rescue, 723 Clark St., Conneaut, Ohio, 44030.
