Saniyah Rayne DeJesus, 4, gained her angel wings on Friday, December 20, 2024, in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born December 14, 2020, in Mayfield Heights, the daughter of Carlos DeJesus and Fashionette Mondine.

Saniyah had an outgoing spirit; she loved to play and was an active little one climbing and jumping around all the time. She recently learned to ride her bike and was a fish in water. She loved watching Sponge Bob, most of all she loved playing with her siblings and being with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Carlos (Kim Rought) DeJesus and Fashionette (Earl Sailes Jr.) Mondine; siblings, Jaylen Shumaker and Darius DeJesus; paternal grandparents, Wilfredo "Freddy" (Marcia Kobernik) DeJesus, and Christina (William McFadden) English; maternal grandparents, Barbara (Murphy) West, and Russell Mondine; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11AM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut. Burial will follow at Kelloggsville Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
