John A. Ensell, of W. Main Rd., Conneaut, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. John was born December 8, 1943 in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Robert and Mary Jean (Thompson) Ensell. He lived in North Kingsville before moving to Conneaut where he has resided the past 43 years. Mr. Ensell was a United States Army Veteran, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a truck driver for 43 years. John enjoyed watching Cleveland sports and his grandson, James' sporting events. He also enjoyed working in his yard. John was a member of the The Federated Church in East Springfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rose (Kubichek) Ensell; daughter, Jennifer (James) Kulko, of Ashtabula; grandsons, James and Jordan; brothers, Bradley Ensell and William Ensell. John was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Ensell. A memorial service will be held, 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 3, 2014 at The Federated Church, 11995 Main St., East Springfield, PA, with Rev. Dr. Edward Huntley, officiating. Family will receive friends at the church on Friday, from 12 Noon until time of services at 1 PM. Inurnment at Gageville Cemetery, will take place a later date. Should friends desire memorials in memory of John, may be given to the WLD Ranch, 7351 Woolsey Rd., Girard, PA, 16417 or the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44110.
