Obituary of Connie Lee Fisher

North Kingsville- Connie Lee Fisher, 56, of Haddam Dr., North Kingsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Saybrook Landing.
Connie was born the daughter of late Vernon A. and Marie E. (Carter) Sharp in Conneaut on December 13, 1956. She was a graduate of Edgewood High School Class of 1976.
Connie was employed as a cook for several area restaurants and enjoyed cooking for Camp Calvary. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Cowle Post #151 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Auxiliary #408 Connie loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, yoga, laying in the sun, reading and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Thompson and Tami Godenschwager; her brothers, Raymond (Margaret) Sharp and Wayne (Debbie) Sharp; long time companion, Thomas McClintock; and her beloved cat, "Porky."
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Godenschwager; step-father, Roy Parker; and her sister, Debra Sharp.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Pastor Tim Kraus, Celebrating. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. Inurnment will follow services at Gageville Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials in memory of Connie may be given to the Ashtabula Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
