Mae M. Bort-Keidel, 92, of Gageville Monroe Rd., Kingsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on September 2, 1920 in Beach, West Virginia, the daughter of James and Lula (Dunkin) Bailey.
Mae was a home maker and enjoyed flowers and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family, all of whom remember her as a giving person.
Mrs. Keidel is survived by her Daughters, Delores Lute, of Kingsville, Christine (Bill) Fredrickson, of Seattle, WA, Jackie (Tom) Hatmaker of Ashtabula; son, Terry (Kathy) Bort, of Kingsville and Ted (Linda) Bort, of Alvin, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Whepley, of North Kingsville.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Don Bort and Marty Meeker; four sons, Garfield Parsons, James Parsons, Thomas Bort and Timothy Bort; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the THOMPSON-SMITH-NESBITT FUNERAL HOME, 345 MAIN ST., CONNEAUT, with Pastor Kenneth Roberts, of the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M.
