To the family and friends,
I am very sorry to here of the loss of your loved one.
Where can we receive comfort when we grieve? 2Corinthians 1:3,4 in the Bible says: " Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." God comforts us by letting us know what happens to our loved ones when they die and gives us hope that they will be brought back to life. To see proof of this from your Bible ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to show you.
Also you can see a short vedio "Is There Hope for the Dead?" https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=share&prefer=content&applanguage=E&locale=en&item=pub-imv_4_VIDEO&docid=1011214

My sincere sympathy to Janet's Family. Her beautiful voice has been silenced, but she will be missed by many. Two of my children went to school with Janet, but were a bit younger. We were all shocked and saddened by her passing. May God grant peace to her family...

We offer our deepest sympathies to Amy, Sara, Ryan, Linda, Claudia, Diane, and families for your loss of a great mother, sister, friend, aunt, grandmother, and cheerleader. Janet and her talents inspired many. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all of her students, both from school and Church. We will cherish the memories we shared with Janet and the Thompson family while growing up in the neighborhood and our Church. She was truly a blessing to all the lives she touched.
Wishing you peace,
The Richards Family (Ginny, Barb and Sally)

I am still in shock of Janet's passing. She was a great lady and kind to everyone. I so enjoyed her post on facebook. She was going through a hard time after her boyfriend (Tom) passed. Not sure she ever got over that pain,
My deepest sympathy Amy, Ryan, Sara and grandchildren.

Dear Claudia and Family Members whom Janet loved so dearly: I am one of the lucky ones for whom Janet sang and played her guitar at our wedding. The memory of her talent bringing our family and friends joy is forever embedded in my memory. We are thankful you shared her with all of us. My first memory of Janet was in high school. She was older than I, and she was one of a group of girls who ran errands for the office. Whenever she would come into my classroom, I would be amazed by her energy and professionalism even doing that small task! When we were cheerleaders, Claudia, I hope we made her proud. She was the best cheerleader ever! She had such a presence wherever she went. Such energy. Such class. Such enthusiasm. While you will be missing her mightily, you are so blessed to have had such an incredible woman in your lives. May your precious memories carry through these tough times. Love to all.

I've known Janet since home room. We reconnected at reunions and she always led the crowd in the alumni song. She had a beautiful voice. Janet is with her boyfriend now and all is well. However, Janet will be missed by her family, including Chloe. She was so devoted to them, and they love her the most. Blessings to you all.

Mrs. Smith was a lovely woman to me an I couldn't thank her enough for all that she did for me over the years as her student an as her friend. She helped me when I struggled with depression an was a pushing force to push me through any hard times I may of had an she always had open arms for those in need. She was always kind and loving, always going above an beyond. I was so blessed to have her in my life an I can't express enough how much she meant to me. Tears flooded my eyes when I got the news of her passing. I will be keeping her family an friends in my thoughts an in my prayers. We were all blessed to have her as apart of our lives. ♡ I will never forget all the things she has done for me an for others. I will miss the Christmas cards but I will keep the spirt alive with her memory an continue to display her cards she sent me. I will continue to write like she told me to an always remember how much she believed in me, an in each an every single one of us. ♡ (Class of 2011)

I cried reading the obituary.
I wept that I was included as the Tech Guy for Upa Trio.
It was the best gig I ever had.
First Tom, then Janet. I am hollow.
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.

I’m a good friend of Janet’s daughter, Sara. Sara and I met as young Navy wives, so I was only around her mom a handful of times. Even so, she made a lasting impression... always welcoming, friendly, and ready to have a great time! Her personality had a way of lighting up the room— a rare trait, but one that she definitely passed to her daughter, Sara. While I know that it will be hard for her 3 children, grandchildren, and family to navigate life without her, I also know that her family’s faith in God will get them through and that both Janet and Tom will be watching over them. My family and I will be praying for strength and comfort in the coming days. Much love, Jen Dyson
