Eric, your Uncle Dave was a very good friend. I know our son, Tim, talked with you about the 14 months that he lived with Dave after we moved from EC church in Dixon, IL to an EC Church in Allentown, PA in June 2007. Dave went to seminary with my brother at Myerstown and I knew him from quizzing when we were growing up- me in the EC Church in Johnstown PA and Dave and your mom in the Youngstown EC Church. He had a great sense of humor, loved to joke around but most importantly -Dave loved HIS LORD and loved serving the people in his congregation. I know his death will leave a loss in your family, with his 3 kids and his church family - both here in PA and in IL!
He is singing and rejoicing in heaven today- reunited with Wanda. Don't know if Tim told you that he wrote a eulogy to your uncle on FB- just do a search under Timothy Reigle.
We as a family could never ever thank Dave enough for letting Tim live with him but more importantly for being a wonderful Godly role model and mentor to Tim. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom and the rest of the family Love in Christ, Dick &Becky Reigle
