Saddened to hear the news of Ruth's passing, but we celebrate her long life and beautiful family.
Growing up in Conneaut, she was like a member of our Gurto family. My parents, Christy and Peggy and Ruth and Joe were lifelong friends. We all spent many holidays, special occasions, and just coffee time at each others homes. Janet and Jane were a year older than me and Joani is my sister Michele's age. Ruth and Lee Armeni gave me a bridal shower in 1967, and attended my wedding in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1968. Joe was our bartender and Lee cut the cake. It was a special day to have all of them there. Barry and I have been married 51 years. Ruth was the last of my parent's circle of friends. I have joyful thoughts that they are all together again in heaven. The Greatest Generation.
