Jeffrey R. Nelson, 54, of Conneaut passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at UH- Conneaut Medical Center.

Jeff was born January 15, 1970, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Constance (Peters) Nelson. A lifelong area resident, Jeff graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1988. Most recently he worked at Cleveland Industrial Recycling.

Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman, taking many young people under his wings to teach them the sport. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially the grandchildren.

He is survived by his father, Ronald Nelson; children, twins, Jacob and Garrett Nelson, Emily Nelson, Billy (Ricquelle) Post, and Alexis Nelson: brothers, Brett (Leigh Anne) Nelson, and Brad (Shawn Mackey) Nelson; brother-in-law, Earl Tuttle; companion, Janeen Dick; and grandchildren, Jaelynn, Lacee, Leo, Lincoln, and Braden; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Constance in 2018; and sister, Sandy Tuttle in 2024.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
